Sheffield: 3 day Accredited Training Course

Times: 8.30 am – 6.30 pm (except on final day of course which ends at 5 pm)

Cost: £295

Just a 20 minute ride on the tram from Sheffield station.

A recommended place to stay is the Church Army Wilson Carlile Centre, which is a 10 minute tram ride from the church. Early booking is advisable. There are reduced rates for people on this course. We may also be able to arrange for you to stay in someone’s home for a low cost – please contact katecornwell5@gmail.com

st marys lymmThe next Chester Diocesan Godly Play Support morning will be on Saturday 23 April 2016
at St Mary’s, Lymm (next to Lymm Dam).

Coffee and croissants will be served from 9.15am onwards and we will make a prompt start at 9.30am, finishing by 12.00pm.

The group is really a self-help group where ideas can be exchanged and those new to, our just thinking about Godly Play can find practical advice on getting going or with growing in confidence to use Godly Play in many settings. Initial plans include the stories of the Last Supper and Jesus in the Synagogue along with opportunity to swap ideas for Lent and Easter – let us know what you did during Lent and Easter.

Please note the new venue (easily accessible from the M56/M6 interchange) where Vanessa Lees (lees307@btinternet.com) will be hosting. Please let Vanessa know whether you are able to attend. Please indicate if you are completely new to Godly Play so we can bring the appropriate resources.

There is ample parking in front of the church but if for any reason the car park is full, there is also parking outside our church hall which is the car park for Lymm Dam off Crouchley Lane, just up the road. There is a path down the church yard from that car park to church.

The training will take place on Monday, 4th July, 2016 in the beautiful space of St Bartholomew’s Centre in Sheffield
