One Day Training in Godly Play with Older People in Care Settings

Training for Godly Play with older people in care settings - go to Courses

One day training in using Godly Play with Elders in Care Settings is beginning July to October in 2016 (all run in Sheffield), with further training days in different locations to be scheduled for later in the year.

Pilot Training (Sheffield): Friday 1st July 9:30 till 16:00; Tuesday 5th July 11:00 till 17:30. This is for people who are living in the areas around Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Goole.

National Training (Sheffield): Wed 28th Sept 9:30 till 16:00; Friday 30th Sept 11:00 till 17:30; Saturday 1st Oct 11:00 till 17:30.

NB numbers for each training day are limited and we recommend early booking. Each day will begin with refreshments 30 minutes before the start and lunch is provided.

The one day training will address:

  • the spirituality of older people;
  • adapting Godly Play for a variety of care settings;
  • the wider blessings of Godly Play in a care setting;
  • working with care home managers and care home staff.

The training is for those who have already completed the 3 day accredited Core training in Godly Play.

  • Cost £10 registration fee and suggested donation of £20
  • Lunch and refreshments are provided.
