Place : St Edward King and Martyr Church in central Cambridge, Peas Hill (just off Market Square) CB2 3PP
Our regional Godly Play trainers, Rebecca Nye and Andrea Harrison, will help to lead the sessions.
The programme will include:
* An exploration of St Edwards’ new Godly Play room, developed by Dani Redhead.
* A Godly play session : Knowing Jesus in a New Way: in Absence, from Vol 8
* Playing, Creativity & Spirituality: Understanding more about ‘Response time’ in Godly Play
* Opportunity for participants to share news of their own developments, projects & challenges
Please bring a sandwich lunch (though tea/coffee will be provided).
By train: The church is a 25 minute walk from the railway station, or 7 minutes in a taxi. Or you can take a bus (citi 1, 3, 7 or 8) from the station to the city centre (7 minutes, plus 4 minutes walk).
By car – it is best to use PARK and RIDE, which operate from all main routes into the city http://www.parkandride.net/cambridge/index.shtml and will drop you in the centre, less than 5 minutes walk from the Church.
Don’t even think about using the nearby Grand Arcade Car park – cost £26 for 5+ hours!
A cheaper car park (£10 for 5+hours) is Queen Anne Terrace Car Park, Gonville Place, next to Parker’s Piece. The Church is 14 minutes walk from there.
